(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – eLogic Learning, LLC has recently announced a partnership with OneLogin, Inc. to bring the benefits of single sign-on (SSO) authentication to its millions ofeSSential LMS users.
The partnership was initiated to provide a simple single sign-on authentication method for eLogic’s clients to integrate with their various cloud-based solution providers. Partnering with OneLogin also eliminates the need for eLogic’s clients to build custom authentication with multiple providers. Once the client integrates user information with OneLogin, the solution integrates via SAML 2.0 with various externally-hosted software solutions, such as Salesforce.com, Office 365 and Google Apps. Client users are then able to sign in once to their network which will automatically authenticate to all of the company’s cloud-based applications. This means users no longer need to remember various system login credentials and companies don’t have to manage a myriad of custom SSO integrations.
OneLogin for eLogic Learning is free for eLogic Learning customers and includes the following capabilities:
- Instant On – OneLogin is entirely cloud-based and allows eLogic Learning customers to get up and running in minutes. No software to install, no appliances, no firewall changes
- Single sign-on (SSO) – Users can sign into eLogic Learning with their existing network credentials
- Directory integration – Sync eLogic Learning users in real-time with Active Directory or LDAP
- Multi-factor authentication – IT can add an extra layer of security via OneLogin’s Mobile OTP App
- eLogic Learning on OneLogin Mobile – Users enjoy secure, one-click access to eLogic Learning from their mobile devices
eLogic’s VP of Professional Services Greg Shell says, “OneLogin has a stellar reputation with its customers, which is synergistic with our company philosophy of putting our customers first. Partnering with OneLogin is a perfect opportunity for us to create value for our clients because they’ll have the ability to use a single sign-in not just for our learning management system, but for the necessary business applications they use every day as well.”
According to Shell, OneLogin’s large network of integrated applications is another reason eLogic chose to partner with the company. As more of eLogic’s customers adopt cloud-based applications, the need for single sign-on authentication will continue to grow. As a OneLogin partner, eLogic can provide the value of a faster and easier way to integrate the eSSential LMS with any other app clients need to use in the cloud.
