(Ping! Zine Web hosting Magazine) – HP has caused quite a bit of stir lately. Besides announcing it plans to acquire Autonomy Corporation, there’s something bigger that’s ending for the company. It’s HP’s support for webOS devices, most notably the TouchPad.
Despite the news, the company says that it “will continue to explore options to optimize the value of webOS software going forward.”
Recent reports have pointed to Australian seller Harvey Norman having already pulled TouchPad sales in the country.
Meanwhile, HP has seen a slight increase in revenue, reporting $31.2 billion for this quarter, a slight increase from the same time last year. For more information, please visit: http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20110818006301/en/HP-Confirms-Discussions-Autonomy-Corporation-plc-Business
