(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Game enthusiasts are sure to be interested in this new technological development that will allow users a different method in controlling their game play.
According to PC World, SteelSeries and Tobii Technology have partnered together to create a device that will allow players to control the game with their eyes.
During the International CES, Tobii plans on demonstrating how the Tobii EyeX Controller works and functions by using eye-tracking peripherals.
The idea of eye control for games is to make gaming more easy for users, such as accessing menus quicker and aiming a weapon at a target just by looking at it.
Developers can preorder the Tobii EyeX Developer Kit at the CES show, which includes middleware, hardware, and development framework.
The Kit will be available for $95 and is expected to start shipping in March.
The International CES will take place in Las Vegas, NV, January 7-10th.
