(Ping! Zine Web Host Magazine) – Earlier today, one of the most popular social network sites seemed to have a “glitch” in their system, leaving users unable to see profile pages. For some, loading times were abnormally slow, for others, pages couldn’t load at all.
According to the LA Times, for at least an hour, users were greeted with the message “Sorry, but this page didn’t load properly. Please try again.”
Facebook released a statement on the issue saying “Earlier today, we experienced an issue that prevented some people from loading Timeline or Pages content for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and content is back to normal. We’re sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.”
It’s hardly the first time the social network’s faced such problems. In August, an outage occurred for developer accounts after the company detected a malicious pattern in its apps.
