(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Facebook has launched a new feature today that allows users to save links and other content so that they can be accessed later.
According to a blog post on Facebook, the Save feature can be accessed on any page near the “Like” button on posts, in which the pages saved will automatically be stored into a separate category that can be viewed anytime.
“Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away. Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time,” reads the post. “You can save items like links, places, movies, TV and music. Only you can see the items you save unless you choose to share them with friends.”
Additionally, the social media site will also remind users of their saves items in the News Feed, showing previous articles, links, and pictures saved.
Facebook Save will be rolling out over the next couple of days to the web, iOS, and Android versions.
