(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Are you ready to listen to music integrated within social networking site Facebook? Well, maybe the possibility is about to become a reality. According to Mashable, Facebook is set to partner with the likes of Spotify, Rdio and MOG to create the social site’s music service.
Meanwhile, the social network’s annual f8 conference is set to take place later this month and according to Mashable, that’s when the service will be officially revealed.
If the news is true, Facebook isn’t wanting to reveal anything just yet. In an update to their initial post, Mashable quoted a Facebook spokesperson as saying, “There’s nothing new to announce.” However, the spokesperson went on to state, “Many of the most popular music services around the world are integrated with Facebook and we’re constantly talking to our partners about ways to improve these integrations.”
Just last week, the social network announced an overhaul of its privacy settings, giving users the ability to share more specifically. In July, Facebook announced the social network’s integration with Skype, giving its users the ability to video chat through Facebook.
