Facebook Unveils ‘Privacy Aware’ Graph Search

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Facebook just got more search savvy. On Tuesday, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg detailed Graph Search – something the social network emphasized was “privacy aware”.

The new capability allows content to be directed to a specific audience, allows it to not be public in addition to allowing users to search for only content that’s specifically been shared with them.

According to a report from ZDNet, the new Facebook search feature also goes so far as to providing answers to user questions – similar to Google Now.

Graph Search becomes available in BETA today and users can join a waitlist here (Facebook.com).
