(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Lizard Squad, the hacking group behind the massive gaming DDoS attacks last month, has struck again, taking down multiple gaming servers over the weekend.
On Sunday the group posted a number of tweets on their official Twitter account claiming responsibility for taking Call of Duty: Ghosts, Destiny, and EA offline.
“Woah, I think there are some Ghosts haunting Destiny,” says one post, while another states “Looks like our prediction was correct,” referring to a post last week claiming that there would be a lot of angry players over the weekend.
According to AttackOfTheFanBoy, EA’s recently released FIFA 15 was among many of the game’s offline, which also included Madden 15 and The Sims 4.
Late last month Lizard Squad launched DDoS attacks against Xbox Live, Battle.net, PSN, and League of Legends.
