(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The development on Square Enix’s role-playing game, Final Fantasy XV, is a very high priority for the company, reports VideoGamer.
“We can’t give too much information but certainly looking at Final Fantasy XV, it’s not as if it’s in competition with Kingdom Hearts 3 for resources or anything like that,” stated producer Yoshinori Kitase in an interview with VideoGamer.
Kitase added that the game is a “high priority” for the company and that the development process is “quite far.”
The game was originally revealed in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but was later changed to Final Fantasy XV.
“Right from the start when we first it announced it as Versus XIII, the game itself was backed up by the same Crystal legend: the Fabulla Nova Crystallis mythology that underpins the whole of the XIII series.”
There has not been any official word of the release of Final Fantasy XV other than that it will be available on the Xbox One and PS4.
