(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – New sweeping changes have made their way to Mozilla’s popular Firefox web browser via the release of version thirteen.
Included among them is the addition of thumbnail links present via the opening of new tabs (these include a user’s most frequented websites) and new options at the bottom of the homepage. Such options provide access to settings, history bookmarks, downloads and more.
Today Firefox remains one of the Internet’s most used browsers. Last month, its use accounted for 19.71% of browser share, according to statistics from NetMarketShare.com.
“Firefox makes it faster and easier to get where you want to go on the Web with a redesigned Home Page and New Tab experience,” commented a Mozilla blog post regarding the matter. Meanwhile, a new version of Firefox featuring Windows 8 compatibility is set for market release in July.
