(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Popular Firefox developer Mozilla on Wednesday provided a preview for version 3 of its Firefox OS Simulator.
Among the most notable of new features is something called “push to device.” “This means that if you have an existing device supporting Firefox OS, connected via USB, you will be able to push apps installed in the Firefox OS Simulator directly to that device,” notes the company via a blog post.
Those interested can now also rotate the simulator in addition to using geolocation API and manifest validation.

Firefox OS is based on HTML and phones supporting the operating system could arrive from Duetsche Telekom and Sprint sometime later this year.
