Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – The FortressITX family of companies, a premium IT outsourcing services provider, announced an extension of sales and customer service hours, expanded from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. until 8 p.m. The addition of this extra shift comes on the heels of the group’s decision to expand its sales force over the next 24 months: “We plan to grow as much as 300 percent during 2012 and 2013,” projects Director of Sales, Brandon Hale.
While Fortress currently maintains a specialist dedicated solely to customer service management, Hale says that he plans to grow a “Customer Success Team” of sales and customer service pros whose sole function will be to cater to the immediate needs of the Fortress international client base: “We currently serve businesses working from 90 different countries,” he states. “As a factor of responsible growth, we will begin with about five new hires during the next year; and then continue to grow in sync with demand.”
International markets for cloud hosting and virtualization are on the rise, Hale says. Currently, the Fortress companies serve clients primarily across the United States and in the United Kingdom. “We want to make ourselves available to our UK market as it grows, customizing our services as needed. We’re really hands on here, and, as department director, I’m involved in our sales and customer service personally.
“But we’ll need a larger force as we expand further into the European and Asian markets,” he adds.
Hale boasts that customer service at Fortress is top priority: “You’re not going to get the personal touch you get here with overgrown, mega providers. Our people are trained, knowledgeable and professional; plus, we’re the ones who really care and we get to know each of our clients. We listen and we help. That’s the Fortress difference.”
Recent new hires at Fortress have included gains in marketing, communications, accounting, and technology, in addition to sales. The new hours reflect the U.S.-based company’s desire to accommodate international markets in varying time zones.
