(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Attention Apple fan boys and girls: You’ll now have to wait an extra day to catch Funny or Die’s iSteve, a spoof of tech company Apple starring Justin Long as Steve Jobs and Jose Garcia as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
The film was originally set to debut today but has been rescheduled due to yesterday’s horrific bombings in Boston, Massachusetts.
Despite the delay, the film will still receive a premier tonight from New Beverly Cinema, according to a report from Mac Rumors. It’s the first film to be released solely about the later Apple founder – although another film featuring Jobs and Microsoft founder Bill Gates (Pirates of Silicon Valley) was released in 1999 to positive reviews.
Another movie simply titled “Jobs” starring Ashton Kutcher is expected to arrive in theaters at a later date.
Meanwhile, Funny or Die is encouraging that its homepage visitors donate to the Boston Red Cross via a banner. Watch a trailer for iSteve below:
