(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Rumors of a premium version of Samsung’s Galaxy S5 have been put to rest as the company assured customers that it was just a rumor.
News began buzzing around the Internet not long after the device’s release, pointing out that a new metal body under the “F series” would be making its way to shelves.
Samsung CEO J.K Shin stated in an interview that “there is no such thing” of another model of the S5.
Accoridng to NDTV, Shin also confirmed in his interview that a new Galaxy Note phablet will be coming out later this year, but did not release any details concerning the device.
Although a new model of the S5 might not be true, the smartphone may be getting a Galaxy S5 Zoom soon.
The device, codenamed Samsung SM-C115, was seen under benchmark tests last week by NDTV, which the site believes to be the S5 Zoom.
The SM-C115 is believed to feature a 4.8-inch HD display, 1.3 GHz hexa-core CPU, Mali-T 624 GPU, and run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
