Game Producer: Dead Rising 2 & 3 Are ‘Night and Day’

Game Producer: Dead Rising 2 & 3 Are ‘Night and Day’(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – How different is newly released zombie thriller Dead Rising 3 compared to its predecessor, Dead Rising 2? “Night and day,” game producer Mike Jones recently told Xbox 360: The Official Magazine.

Dead Rising 3 was launched just earlier this month as an Xbox One launch title.

“I was putting together a comparison for Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 3, and I even pulled slides for the PC version of Dead Rising 2, and it looked 10 times better than the Xbox 360 version, but [DR3] is still head and shoulders above,” explained Jones in the report.

Meanwhile, Jones also emphasized that his company, Capcom Vancouver, had to rewrite a segment of its engine for Microsoft’s new Xbox One console.

Dead Rising 3 retails for $59.99 and has received a pretty positive reception thus far.
