(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Popular Google service Gmail reportedly faced an outage early Monday, according to a report from ZDNet.com.
That’s despite no apparent interruption shown through the company’s status dashboard.
Users reportedly received a 502 error reading, “The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.”
Other offerings from the top internet company remained active. Meanwhile, it’s unknown why the problem happened.
Google has, however, acknowledged the problem. “We are currently experiencing an issue with some Google services. For everyone who is affected, we apologize for any inconvenience you may be experiencing,” commented a representative, according to the report.
