(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Web hosting and domain provider Go Daddy is giving back to the community. The group recently announced its donation of $150 thousand dollars to help animals through the Humane Society in Arizona.
The donation was made for a telethon held by the society. Commenting on the matter, Go Daddy CEO Bob Parson stated, “Over the years, the money raised at this telethon has helped make a difference in our community.”
Such animal care services provided for with the donation include pet care programs and providing pet neutering and spaying.
However, GoDaddy isn’t new to donation efforts. Through their organization, Go Daddy Cares, the hosting provider supports various charities.
Just last month, GoDaddy Inc. was acquired by private equity firms Silver Lake and KKR. For more information on the donation, visit: http://www.godaddy.com/newscenter/release-view.aspx?news_item_id=368
