Go Daddy Ventures into Reseller Hosting

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Top domain registrar and web host Go Daddy made its entrance into the world of reseller hosting on Monday by introducing a new offering suited for developers and web designers.

The platform utilizes cPanel/WHM, allowing the web host’s clients to provide scalable and secure solutions through Go Daddy’s VPS environment.

“Reseller Hosting empowers our customers by giving them a reliable, stable platform with full control capabilities that ultimately save them time. It’s what they told us they wanted and we listened. Our goal is to help our customers deliver to their customers,” commented Auguste Goldman, Chief Infrastructure Officer at the company.

To handle the billing side of the matter, Go Daddy is using WHMCS, recently purchased by cPanel. When making the news, the domain registrar cited data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showing that the web developer industry would grow by 22% within the next eight years.
