(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Google has cut the pricing by $100 on its Nexus 4 smartphone line, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday.
The move makes the 8GB model now $200 while the 16GB costs $250.
The price drop puts the Nexus 4, originally launched in November of last year, in line with more competitive smartphone offerings like the iPhone and other Android-based devices.
Despite positive critical reception, the LA Times report noted that the smartphone’s lack of LTE could “still hurt sales.”
