(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Earlier this year, internet giant Google took on Facebook with the launch of its own social network.
Now reports indicate that the company may be planning its own music download service.
According to a report on The New York Times blog Media Decoder, the company is planning on integrating the new downloading service into its already launched Music Beta, a cloud streaming solution that the company unveiled in May.
Companies including Google, Amazon, and Apple have all launched cloud-based music storage services and both Apple and Amazon already have online music stores.
