(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Google’s upcoming Nexus phone, rumored to be called the Nexus 6, is said to be manufactured by LG, the OEM partner for the Nexus 4 and 5, IBTimes reports.
Rumors have been swirling regarding Google’s next generation device, suggesting that the Nexus 6 will be a “lightweight” version of LG’s upcoming device, the G3.
According to Android Geeks, Google’s device will feature a 5-inch HD scree, 3 GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera, 2,500 mAh battery, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, and the “next-generation” Android software.
Speculation points to an October launch date, although no official date has been confirmed by Google or LG.
“I can assure you, it will not be released in the first half of the year,” stated Google Senior VP Sundar Pichai.
