(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Grand Theft Auto 5 publisher, Take-Two Interactive, has confirmed that they plan on releasing the game on next-gen consoles.
According to the Examiner, Take-Two intends on releasing the vehicle theft game on all consoles that gamers use, including PC platforms.
“If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we’ll release our game on that]. But we wouldn’t drive them there; we would just be there if they are there. That is why we have a companion app for our basketball title, NBA 2K Everywhere. It is wherever consumers want to be. We are not in the hardware business, we don’t have any dog in that hut, we just want to be where the consumer is,” stated Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
There has not been any official statement regarding the release of GTA 5 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but many analysts speculate that a release will be in 2014.
