(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – While Grand Theft Auto Online isn’t exactly an MMO (it features up to 16 players), it’ll still offer gamers plenty to do.
Game developer Leslie Benzies recently provided insight regarding the online version of GTA 5 in an interview, according to a report from Attack of the Fan Boy.
“I think there are about 700 missions at this time. We hope you have 500 always available, and are renewed continuously. You can also go to the Rockstar Social Club and get off more missions. So you can connect and download any play missions to populate your world online, both from friends and from other users,” he explained.
In Grand Theft Auto Online, users will be able to form crews, make friends, rob liquor stores, tackle heists and much more.
The online mode coincides with the highly anticipated release of GTA 5, expected to launch for the PS4 and Xbox 360 on September 17th.
