(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Rockstar Games released its GTA Online 1.09 patch for anti-cheat exploits that have been occurring in the game.
For months, users have complaining about infinite money glitches in GTA that gives some players billons of in-game money.
On January 11th, the GTA V Title Update notes were released, which improved anti-cheat measures and fixed several GTA$ and RP exploits.
Earlier in the month Rockstar announced that they would be taking “appropriate measures” to punish users who are found to have been manipulating the game to receive unearned money.
“We’ll also be taking appropriate measures very soon to punish anyone that we’ve discovered manipulating GTA Online in this manner (as we’ve stated previously, players who have received large sums of GTA$ but not engaged in any game manipulating through exploits can rest assured knowing they have nothing to fear).”
Grand Theft Auto V is available on Xbox 360 and PS3.
