(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – A Halo 5: Guardians Beta will be available on December 29th, announced developer 343 Industries yesterday during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2014 press conference.
According to Xbox Wire, the beta will focus on “4v4 arena gameplay”, with players given the options to try out seven maps, three modes, 11 weapons, and multiple armor sets.
Players will be able to unlock items during the beta that can be carried over to the full version of the game when it arrives in fall 2015.
“Having a beta this early this early in development is crucial because it gives us as developers the opportunity to react to the feedback we get from fans and take it into account as we complete the multiplayer experience for Halo 5: Guardians,” said executive producer on Halo 5: Guardians Josh Holmes.
The Halo 5: Guardians beta will be available on December 29th and end on January 18th, 2015. Players can access the beta by purchasing a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection that launches on November 11th for the Xbox One.
