(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Last week, Microsoft and 343 Industries gave attendees at San Diego’s Comic-Con a first look at the trailer for its upcoming live-action series, Halo: Nightfall.
The new digital series, produced by Ridley Scott, takes place on the “distant colony world of Sedra” between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, says a post on Xbox Wire.
Included in the series is new character Jameson Locke, who will also be featured in the Halo 5: Guardians game that is set to be released for the Xbox One in 2015.
“In science fiction, we’re always searching for new frontiers. We’re drawn to the unknown,” said Scott. “With Halo: Nightfall, we’re pioneering a new medium in terms of interactive storytelling on Xbox. It’s going to be fun for long-time fans to see how the worlds come together with an ambition to attract new fans along the way with what we’ve created.”
Halo: Nightfall is set to be released on November 11th on Xbox Live as part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection.
