(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – While Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Google’s Chrome, and Mozilla’s Firefox may receive a lot of attention, there’s another browser out there that’s been pretty successful on its own. It’s the web browser called Opera, created by Norwegian-based Opera Software.
Besides being pretty popular in various countries, versions of the web browser have appeared on popular Nintendo consoles such as the Wii and DS.
Just recently, the web browsing company announced its plans to host with Fortress Colocation Centers.
Commenting on the matter, Fortress Colocation Centers CEO Timothy Doherty stated, “Opera Software is an excellent example of today’s high density/high availability customers looking for data center operators that offer clean energy, a low PUE, operational reliability and redundancy.”
While making the announcement in a press release, Opera Software emphasized the colocation provider’s green technology. For more information, visit: http://www.opera.com/press/releases/2011/09/29/
