(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – It seems that the age of the growing mobile smartphone is starting to morph back to a time when smaller was better. You remember the 90’s don’t you? The decade when we finally traded in those Zach Morris phones for the much smaller Nokia. From that point on, phones seemed to get evermore smaller in size, until the release of the Android smartphones. Then it all of sudden became a race for who could make the biggest headset.
Coming just behind the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, HTC has announced that it too is going “mini” with its HTC One Mini.
The HTC One Mini is nothing more than a smaller version of the HTC One, which has been glorified by many as one of the best designed smartphones available on the market.
Its 4.3 inch display still remains bigger than the iPhones and boasts an all-aluminum body like its bigger brother.
The HTC Blink-feed allows customized homescreens with news feeds, social network activity, and your favorite apps and content.
The HTC One Mini also features impressive sound. Boomsound dual front stereo speakers are powered by an amplifier that delivers possibly the most kick-ass sound on the market.
For you smartphone photographers, the HTC One Mini will feature an UltraPixel Camera, allowing users to capture that epic moment through a series of up to 20shots, just b pressing the shutter.
Are you salivating yet over this smartphone? Well, you will have to wait just a little longer. The HTC One Mini will be available in the US in August and globally starting in September. Rumors have it that AT&T could also be the exclusive carrier, but we will just have to wait and see.
