(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – The Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition), a group of nearly 75 members representing Internet infrastructure providers and related tech firms, has added Net Data Centers president & CEO Pervez Delawalla to their Board of Directors. Delawalla joins the board with more than 20 years of experience in network computing, information technology and data centers.
In 2001, Delawalla co-founded Net Data Centers with the primary goal of filling a gap in the marketplace for flexible, fully managed data center services. Net Data Centers has grown tremendously across two bi-coastal markets with seven active data center locations as well as expanded partnerships in Singapore. Before founding his own company, Delawalla served as CTO of Cook Inlet Energy Supply (now Macquarie Cook Energy) and as VP of technology for Alchemy Communications, Inc.
“As a data center industry leader within a key component of the Internet infrastructure ecosystem Delawalla is a welcomed new addition to our Board of Directors,” said Christian Dawson, i2Coalition co-founder and board chair. “We are pleased to have him on board and look forward to having him work with our other board members to promote the growth of the Internet and the innovation it enables.”
