(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – On Wednesday, cloud solutions provider Host Virtual revealed that it had finished an upgrade of the company’s Amsterdam, Netherlands cloud location.
Such features of the site include connectivity to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) along with low latency.
Discussing the matter in a press release, Host Virtual Senior VP of Operations Sandy Bhargavi stated, “As our first cloud location in the EU, Amsterdam has seen consistent upgrades and investments.”
“The Amsterdam Cloud really embodies our strategy of going into premier carrier hotels and peering exchanges to provide the lowest latency services to our customers,” Bhargavi continued.
Host Virtual’s Amsterdam presence is just one of eleven data center locations operated by the company. Other sites include Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong and Paris.
As a company, Host Virtual’s cloud solutions provide for deployment, DNS management and compatibility with both IPv4 and IPv6. In November, the company announced that it had launched a new cloud location in Dallas, Texas. For more information regarding Host Virtual, visit: http://www.vr.org/
