(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – In Japan, two new cloud solutions were recently launched by CenturyLink-owned company Savvis.
Pertaining to both public and private cloud platforms, the solutions are known as Savvis Symphony Open and Symphony Dedicated. Discussing the matter in a press release, Savvis managing director for Asia Mark Smith said the offering “meets the rapidly increasing demand for enterprise cloud in the high-growth Japan market.”
Meanwhile, the new platform is already home to one top company in the area. Japanese pet insurance company Anicom Holdings spoke highly of its decision to go with Savvis. “We needed an IT partner that could deliver the highest levels of flexibility, scalability and security,” stated Anicom IT director Meiji Maruo.
Maruo also said that the cloud company provides “true enterprise-class cloud, with great customer support.” Features of the cloud solution include scaling and no required licensing.
Among its services, Savvis provides clients with colocation, managed hosting, security and more. In October of last year, the company announced the availability of a cloud database solution called the Savvis Symphony Database.
