(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – International business managed hosting provider INetU has concluded its Secure Web Hosting & IT Infrastructure Summit in Kansas City, MO, on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the offices of Polsinelli Shughart PC.
The Summit kick-started INetU’s Education Series and instructed attendees on how to keep private data secure in a web environment. Guests registered free of charge and were treated to a catered breakfast, lunch, and an early evening networking event at The Capital Grille.
“Every attendee walked away not only knowing what threatens their data security, but now they have practical insights that will help them prevent those threats,” said Kristine Hansen, INetU’s Midwest Regional Manager. “We look forward to holding our next educational summit in the near future.”
Speakers at the event included, Pat Shore and Mike Saxton from IntelliThink, Steve Goldsby from Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc, and Tim Steffens from Polsinelli Shughart PC. In addition, INetU’s Scott Walters discussed circumstances that affect website availability.
Scott Kice from the FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force concluded the summit by discussing the FBI’s response to computer intrusions and explained why former employees are making the list of usual suspects.
Marathon Solutions Inc, Knighton Business Solutions, Greentree Technology Partners, and networking group Accelerent were the summit’s exhibiting vendors.
