“When you’re viewing a video on Instagram, the sound is controlled by your device’s volume setting. If your phone is set to silent, the video will play with the sound off,” noted the Facebook-owned company.
Meanwhile, the Instagram suggested tips like using a “hands-free set,” trying an external microphone along with making a “removable wind shield” aka a “deadcat.”
