iOS 7 Features Motion-Tracking Backgrounds

iphone2PZ(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple CEO Tim Cook referred to it as the “biggest change to iOS since the introduction of iPhone” at Apple’s annual WWDC conference on Monday.

iOS 7 was notably designed with the influence of Apple Senior VP of Industrial Design Jonathan Ive.

Below are some of the features iOS 7 has:

Motion-Tracking Background

-When you move the device, it tracks the motion, allowing the users to view more of the background as they view the device from different angles. For example, you can now see around icons that sometimes obstruct certain parts of the background if you view the screen from a particular angle. This gives things a 3D-like approach

Control Center

-Swipe up from the bottom and the essentials will appear

-Turn on airplane mode

-Adjust brightness and more

-Available from lock screen


-Now available for all apps with what Apple calls “great battery life”

-Opportunistic updates, Intelligent scheduling, Responds to push notifications


-1 tap access to favorites

-Google search suggestions

-bookmark control at bottom

-Reading List (scroll continuously from article to article)

-No longer limited to just 8 tabs. iCloud tabs appear at bottom


-Can swipe between camera modes

-Have access to live photo filters
