(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – According to a new Reuters report, Apple is set to begin production on the iPhone 5 in July and ship the product out to retailers by September. Earlier reports had seemed to indicate that production would not begin until September.
Reuters received the information from three sources who worked for iPhone 5 suppliers.
Although the report failed to provide many specifics, analysts speculate that while looking similar to the iPhone 4, the latest iPhone will have a faster processer. iPhone 5 may also have an increased screen size and an improved camera. Apple is also said to be looking for new component suppliers.
The iPhone 4 continues to sell well, having sold around sixteen million units in the last quarter of 2010. The iPhone most recently became available for wireless provider Verizon in February.
