It’s June of 2013 when British-based newspaper The Guardian publishes details of previously classified government surveillance programs, most notably PRISM – a data mining initiative overseen by the NSA. The leaker is none other than an internal source, Edward Snowden; he’s a 29-year-old former CIA and NSA employee who was working at consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton at the time.
