(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Cloud Service Provider, iWeb, with global reach extending from North America to Singapore, has been beset with temporary interruptions to its iWeb-NE data center, caused by one of their UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) encountering technical issues.
Reports on their blog are being updated regularly with status reports from their technical team, with the latest report coming at 5:10PM EST, “Our second generation Cloud Servers services (based on Openstack) are back online and our Smart Servers services are still rebooting progressively. Our technical team is actively working to fully restore all our services back to normal. We will continue to communicate all updates.”
Not to fear, even the best of them can have problems and the quick response of the technical team, consistently updating their clients and working on secondary corrections to bring everything backup while dealing with the main problem has been impressive.
