(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – On Wednesday it was revealed that cloud solution providers Joyent and enStratus had partnered in the area of cloud management.
Teaming up means enStratus enterprise customers can now rely on Joyent for the deployment of clouds. Among the management capabilities included are resource control, security and governance.
“As enterprises embrace the cloud, the tools to streamline management of these dynamic environments are critical to business operations,” commented enStratus CEO David Bagley in a press release concerning the matter.
Bagley also expressed excitement regarding the partnership and said that the Joyent Cloud “delivers performance, transparency and reliability to enterprises in fast growing verticals like online games and mobile communications.”
Joyent’s cloud solutions account for critical online processes including that of top business social networking site LinkedIn.
The partnership follows an October 2011 announcement by Joyent in which the company revealed that its cloud services would be made available through enterprise networking provider Navlink’s Nice, France data center.
