(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Okay, so GTA 5 isn’t here quite yet. With its release set for September, impatient gamers are just going to have to wait a bit longer. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t be able to preoccupy themselves with something else until then.
As many already know, the latest and upcoming release in the popular Grand Theft Auto series features three main characters, allowing the user to switch between them. It’s also something previous versions in the series didn’t offer.
But with a player mod via an altered version of Grand Theft Auto 4, that’s something users can now try out. According to a report from NBC News, the edition expands on GTA 4 to feature playable versions of protagonists like Johnny Klebitz and Luis Lopez, two protagonists later featured as downloadable content for the game.
GTA 5 is set to arrive on September 17th for platforms including the PlayStation 3 and Xbox One. A PC version, however, has yet to be confirmed.
