(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Was Square Enix’s announcement of Kingdom Hearts 3 made a little too soon? That could be the case, according to a recent comments made by game creator Tesuya Nomura.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was unveiled just last week, although a release date remains unclear.
“Since the release of Kingdom Hearts II, I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous releases of spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV. However, looking at the current development status, I think we may have announced it a little too early,” commented Nomura in an interview with Famitsu.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature main protagonist Sora in addition to Goofy and Donald. The game is set to become available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Watch the E3 trailer from IGN below:
