The newly launched title combines KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, originally available in Japan only, along with KINGDOM HEARTS RE:Chain of Memories, a game initially launched on Game Boy Advance in 2004.
The highly anticipated launch is notably the Kingdom Hearts’ series first arrival for the Sony PlayStation 3.
“The first KINGDOM HEARTS game was released more than 10 years ago, and following that, my only regret was never releasing KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX overseas,” commented game director Tetsuya Nomura through a press release. “With the release ofKINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX, fans everywhere now have the chance to play the game in a brand-new high-definition format – and with that, I’m very pleased.”
Meanwhile, Square Enix is already working on Kingdom Hearts III for the Xbox One and PS4 and previously showed a trailer of the title at the E3 game festival.
