Leaked Images Reveal Minor Design Changes To Apple's Rumored iPad Air 2(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Images of the rumored iPad Air 2 surfaced on the Internet over weekend, revealing a few subtle changes in the design of Apple’s next tablet.

The leaked images were posted on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, showing off changes to the rear shell of the device, AppleInsider reports.

According to the photos, the iPad Air 2’s microphone will be relocated closer to the rear camera and the speaker holes will be bigger than previous models and will be arranged in a single row instead of a double row.

Unlike current iPads on the market, the Air 2 has recessed buttons on the side and does not include the “mute/orientation lock”, but instead a tiny pinhole about the volume button.

Apple’s iPad Air 2 is rumored to come equipped with an A8 processing chip, Touch ID fingerprint senor, and an enhanced 8-megapixel camera. A release date has yet to be announced, though many speculate Apple will launch the device later this year near the holiday season.
