(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The latest version of Apple’s audio software, Logic Pro X, was unveiled by the Cupertino-based tech giant on Tuesday.
Available for $199.99 via the Mac App Store, the new edition delivers a “new interface,” new creative tools for musicians and what Apple says is an “expanded collection of instruments and effects.”
“Logic Pro X is our most powerful version yet, with advanced tools and a modern new interface designed to streamline the process of creating professional quality music,” commented Philip Schiller, Apple Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing via a press release.
In addition to the launch of Logic Pro X, Apple also unveiled the latest release of MainStage. Version 3, which is the companion for Logic Pro X, features integration for live audio.
Apple initially acquired the Logic Pro software when it bought software company Emagic back in 2002.
