Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Marin Software, provider of the leading paid search management platform, announced today that Wister Walcott, co-founder and executive vice president of products, and Matt Lawson, vice president of marketing & alliances, will join panels at SMX West to be held March 8–10, 2011 at the San Jose San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
Walcott will take part in a discussion about how data visualization can provide marketers with improved visibility and increased ROI from search marketing programs. The panel, entitled “Visual Analytics: Conversion Juice for the Whole Brain,” will take place from 10:00 am–11:00 am on Thursday March 10, as part of the conference’s Analytics & Conversion track. Panelists will explore data visualization techniques advanced search marketers can use to analyze and optimize paid search campaigns. The panel will include a tour de force of graphs, charts, and creative plots that together provide marketers with a critical toolkit for analyzing large keyword sets.
Lawson will join a panel entitled “Facebook Ad Tactics For Search Marketers,” to be held Wednesday March 9, from 2:45 pm–3:30 pm as part of the conference’s Twitter and Facebook track. Lawson will present search marketers with advice and best practices for how to leverage paid advertisements on Facebook to increase influence and drive conversions for their brand. He will also share real-world data gathered from Marin customers showing the impact that paid search ads have on Facebook Ads and vice versa.
