Microsoft Plans To Release “Threshold” for Windows OS in 2015

Microsoft Plans To Release "Threshold" for Windows OS in 2015(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Microsoft has big plans for its users, plans that include a big “wave” of updates.

According to The Verge, Microsoft software platforms will be brought closer together by an update code named “Threshold.” Included in the update are the Xbox One, Windows, and Windows Phone, which will support the same “high-value activities” that include decision-making and task completion, expression and document that will possibly include Office, and IT management.

“Microsoft will enable these types of high-value activities with a family of devices — from both Microsoft and our partners — as well as with our services,” said departing CEO, Steve Ballmer.

The code name originated from the planet that the first halo ring orbited in the original Halo game.

Threshold is expected to be released in spring 2015.
