(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Next week may be a good time to get your hands on one of Microsoft’s Surface RT tablets. According to a report from The Verge on Thursday, which cited an unnamed source, the company plans to roll out a price cut on such devices.
The move could help Microsoft beef up what has otherwise been considered slow sales.
New pricing will make the Surface RT 32GB available for $349.99, the Surface RT 64GB available for $449.99, the Surface RT 32GB with Touch Cover available for $449.99 and finally, the Surface RT 64GB with Touch Cover available for $549.99.
Retail giant Staples, meanwhile, appeared to confirm The Verge’s report by releasing its Weekly advertisement which included pricing for the 32GB model without Touch Cover.
Microsoft originally launched the Surface tablet back in June of last year.
