Microsoft To Unveil Windows 10 At Special Event On January 21(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Microsoft will finally unveil its Windows 10 operating system during a special event at its Redmond offices on January 21st.

In a blog post published yesterday, Microsoft Senior Marketing Communication Manager Brandon LeBlanc revealed that CEO Satya Nadella will be discussing Windows 10 alongside Terry Myerson, Joe Belfiore, and Xbox Head Phil Spencer.

The tech giant did not reveal much details about the event, however FoxNews says the OS will include a new Task View, Snap Assist, Continum change mode, the addition of the Start menu, and multiple improvements to Explorer, among other things.

“We’re going to live webcast the event so mark your calendars! As we get closer to the event in January, watch for another blog post from me on where to tune-in and watch the live webcast,” says the tech giant. “As you can imagine, we’re pretty stoked to show you what’s next for Windows 10!”

Microsoft’s Windows 10 event can be seen via livestream on January 21st, 9 a.m Pacific.

Microsoft’s Xbox One console is also rumored to be discussed at the event, where it is speculated the tech giant will reveal a Windows 10 Xbox One dashboard, which is said to sync the console with the new OS that makes it more app friendly.

Windows 10 is expected to launch sometime in 2015.
