(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Minecraft’s latest update, 1.7.10, is geared toward Realm users, moving all Realm-related modules into a separate library.
“How does this release affect you? If you are not playing on Realms, it does not change anything at all,” says Mojang.
“The main advantage is that we don’t have to release new updates for Minecraft 1.7.x in the future, if we want to add new features to Realms.”
Some of the latest features from the Realms update include improvements in the UI, a player activity monitor, access to more server settings, and various bug fixes.
Update 1.7.10 is currently only available in snapshots. Information on how to access the snapshots can be found here.
