(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Minecraft, Mojang’s smash hit, launches for the Xbox One on Friday, September 5th, in the Xbox Store.
New players will be able to download the game for $19.99, with Xbox 360 players having an upgrade fee of only $4.99.
With the new edition players can create worlds up to 36 times bigger than ever before, says a post on Xbox Wire. The game will also be able to support a four player split-screen and up to eight players on Xbox Live.
Minecraft’s lead producer Roger Carpenter noted via Twitter that all previous Xbox DLCs will be available on the Xbox One.

Minecraft Xbox One will be available as a digital download on Friday and as physical disc in retailers this holiday season.
