(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – A highly anticipated version of Minecraft Pocket Edition could arrive within the coming months. According to a report from droidgamers.com, Mojang developer Johan Berhardsson confirmed version 0.7.0 would possibly be released in April.
The news arrives after Droid Gamers cited a post from Berhardsson which appeared via Minecraft Forums in which the developer was questioned about multiplayer functionality in the title.
The developer also noted servers will use white lists for the multiplayer feature in addition to addition to not containing op commands.
Minecraft is also available for PC and the Xbox 360. In the game, users survive in a pixelated world by constructing shelters, harvesting resources and protecting against monsters.
